Girls will be automatically placed in the correct age group based on the age they were on December 31st of the previous year. 2018 Registration fees are as follows: T-Ball and Coach Pitch: $150 8U, 9U & 10U: $170 11U & 12U: $190 14U: $210
Games are played throughout Jefferson County. Golden's home fields are at Lions Park so many practices and games will be there. Practices will also be held at other local fields.
For the summer season, coaches will contact players in early April at the latest as the teams are finalized.
Games are played on weekday evenings from May - July with the exception of an end of season tournament on a weekend in mid July.
The registration fee covers a jersey, practice fields, game fields and umpire fees.
Your daughter will need her own softball glove. She will also need to have softball pants, socks and shoes (cleats are recommended).
For spring/summer rec teams, practices will start in mid-April and games will begin in mid-May. The season ends in mid-July.
Fall Ball runs from end of August through early October. It is meant to be a developmental time for the girls so no standings are kept.
For the 2019 season, your daughter will be placed on a team based on her age on 12/31/2018.
Practices are scheduled once the teams are formed and are based on field availability and coaches' availability. Practices are typically in the evenings, two days a week.
